...Arthur Brewer and Manahan played the best game in Harvard's rush line. Brewer was quick in breaking through and once downed his man with a loss of three yards. He made some good catches of punts and always gained several yards before he was tackled. Of the backs, Hayes was the heaviest and was the best ground gainer, though his slowness in getting started was a lamentable weakness.
