...Heavy-Weight Wrestling Atkinson secured the first hold around the neck of Winthrop, but was quickly forced to relinquish it. After a number of passes they closed, and after a short struggle Atkinson was turned over and thrown, but not so as to cause a fall. The round was afterward decided in favor of Atkinson.
