It begins with forty lines of descriptive verse, when suddenly the lovers appear on the scene, and the author abruptly turns from Wordsworth to Dante-Gabriel Rossetti. Having fitted up his paradise, he introduces Eve; and we should infer from the following lines that lilacs, and not fig-leaves, were at present the correct thing...
