Del Ames made ninth place in the slalom yesterday, but with Capt. Finn Former he was disqualified in the downhill and did not get into the final rating. Tom Winship combined a ninth on Saturday with a 24th in the slalom to cop 11th place in the meet.
Members of the Crimson ski team left yesterday for Stowe, Vt. to participate in the U.S.E.A.S.A. Downhill Slalom Championships. Among the members of the team in Vermont are Captain Finn Ferner '43, Tom Winship '42, Del Ames '43, Bungle King '42, and Duncan Reid '45.
On the Moose Mountain downhill trail this morning, Captain Finn Ferner of Harvard tied Knowlton of New Hampshire for first. Reid was seventh, and Ames 13th.
