Also, there are a few conspicuous references to 1984 by George Orwell and A Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. Despite the similarities, Enemy of the State manages to be intense, gripping and original, keeping the audience captivated and involved in the action for a full two hours. In fact, the intensity is so high that at times the film seems a bit lengthy, keeping the viewers waiting nervously...
