Last evening a Yale University meeting was held to consider a proposition made by Harvard some time ago to Yale to participate in intercollegiate athletic sports of a general kind. Various objections were made to an acceptance, the principal one being that Yale had no preparation or chance to train that would warrant meeting Harvard at present.
