Harvard was defeated by Haverford Saturday on Soldiers Field by the score of 99 to 101 not out. The game was played in a drizzling rain which became harder as the game progressed, softening the ground enough to affect the bowling considerably. Harvard's bowling suffered more from this than Haverford's, but there were other causes which contributed to the outcome.
