Lieutenant Edward Hooper Gardiner '19, of Boston, was killed in action September 12, in the St. Mihiel offensive. He had been previously reported missing from the 50th Air Squadron, Air Service, A. Yale is planning an elaborate celebration for the 200th anniversary of the removal of Yale College from Saybrook, Conn., to New Haven, and of the 50th anniversary of the Yale School of Fine Arts next fall.
