Early in the season it was deemed advisable to frame a set of rules for hare and hound's runs. A committee from the H. A. A., together with several men prominent in the weekly hunts, adopted the rules published in the CRIMSON of October 26th. It will be noticed that there is nothing in these rules radically different from those previously understood, except that the hares are liable to forfeit their right to cups if they win by laying a scent unsatisfactorily to three-quarters of the hounds.
