EXETER, N. H., November 12, 1897.- Exeter defeated Andover 18-14 yesterday afternoon in one of the best and cleverest contests ever seen between preparatory schools. Five minutes' more play would undoubtedly have enabled Andover to score again, and by kicking a goal to win the game. As it was, Exeter took a brace just in time and managed to hold their opponents.
