...understand the antagonism toward paying ATM fees [BUSINESS, Nov. 29]. Twenty years ago, to cash a check you had to go to your own bank or a branch. You had to show up during banking hours, wait in line and then have proper identification. The banks have purchased and installed ATMs at a cost of thousands of dollars.
