Derby and Stillman each scored in the first half, and then Stillman, with thirty seconds to play in the second half, ran seventy yards for a touchdown, on a fake kick. Daly gained 30 yards by returning Hare's kick-off in the next half. Coombs punted short to Campbell, and then a steady attack on the guards soon resulted in a touchdown by Ellis.
