...running. In this Worcester was far ahead, as is shown by the fact that eight Harvard and only two Worcester men got out on bases. One of the most brilliant plays was made by Mumford in the fourth inning, when he stopped a hot liner and by a remarkable throw put Daniels out at first. Henshaw caught a long and foul which put Meister out in the sixth. Harvard's work at the bat was very creditable; the result shows eight hits with a total of eleven and only four struck out.
