Since February 23, the date of the first work on the water, all three crews have advanced rapidly. The University crew, of late, has run the stroke up high on the last short stretch to the boathouse, and has seemed to move along fairly well. The second boat shows a good drive and dash. The third crew has suffered much from lack of a consistent order...

His list of the buildings added is a sad one; by no stretch of the imagination can many of these be called beautiful. The stroke was kept down most of the time, except for one stretch. The shell did not appear to go as badly as might be expected, and it is hoped that within a few days the crew will be rowing well together again.
