...wait. Bam! The couple's car is rammed from behind by some bad guys in a van. They're trying to push the couple's car onto the tracks. Ding, ding, ding! The train is coming! Screech! The good guy accelerates, and the bad guys' van ends up on the tracks instead. Wham! Kapow! Impressive fireball! Fortunately, one of the bad guys is still alive and has time to look up and react--Wuh-oh!--just before the van is hit by a second train on parallel tracks, a deft directorial callback to an earlier scene in the same movie...

Suddenly, the fire alarm began its high caterwauling screech. An instant later, we, the Luau crew, protected from the elements only by aloha shirts, shorts, slippers, and a few layers of delicate flower leis, were asked to leave the building and brave the 20 degree weather. We trembled outside for about a half an hour, waiting for the fire department. The conversation drifted quickly from the initial euphoria of the success of the luau to how much we missed home and why the heck we were in Boston in the first place. Meanwhile, a man and woman driving through the tunnel in the opposite, eastbound direction also reported seeing a dark car in front of the Mercedes. There was a sudden screech of brakes. The man heard a "small" impact, then saw the Mercedes skid directly into a support pillar in the middle of the tunnel, leading him to think the car had sideswiped the other vehicle and lost control...
