...become of college football if their interest in it should be discouraged. The undergraduate has a personal interest in the game which it is impossible that he should continue to keep to the same extent in later life. The players are his friends, his classmates or his contemporaries. Their record is a part of his college experience in which he has a very natural pride. ...place, except the finals of the 220-yards dash, which were postponed until Monday on account of darkness. The hurdle races had very few entries. The best individual performance was by H. F. ...strength of the University eleven in the game with Brown at 3 o'clock this afternoon. The latter has a good record for this season, and in past seasons has always played games which proved of great value to Harvard elevens. It will require strong team play to break up Harvard's defense, and the offensive work should be effective as a result of the great attention paid to it during...
