...right that the world has been seriously damaged by the current Administration and that the next President, whoever that poor soul may be, will have an extraordinary amount of cleaning up to do. I did not realize at the time how wonderful it was to have a prudent, wise, cautious, intelligent individual like her in office. ...Anti-immigrant and English-only advocates are really just exploiting people’s economic anxieties and distrust of others. If the majority of the illegal immigrants were of European ancestry or spoke English, the amount of xenophobic rancor that has been infused in the debate would be drastically reduced...
