...opening exercises of Radcliffe college were held yesterday morning in Fay House. Miss Irwin welcomed the new students, and briefly mapped out the work for the year. The registration of the Freshman class was very large and promises to exceed all previous figures. The scholarships for 1899-1900 have not yet been awarded.
