The 'varsity showed great improvement since their last game with this nine, but there were, nevertheless, several weak points. The fielding was generally good. Willard was hardly up to his s andard on first, but at short Dean played a magnificent game, taking ten chances without an error. The base running was very poor. Only eight innings were played.
