Last Tuesday evening the University chess team defeated the Dorchester Chess Club by the score of 3 1-2 to 1 1-2. This was the second match of the Metropolitan Chess League tournament. The University team now leads in the tournament, as it has not been beaten in the two matches played. In the match last Tuesday evening E. Q. Abbot '06 lost, Q. A. Brackett '06 drew, K. S. Johnson '07 won by default, B. Palsson '09 won, and E. R. Perry '06 won. Next Tuesday evening the third match will be played with the Massachusetts Institute...
