...Weld Boat Club entered two crews in the Metropolitan regatta yesterday. In the junior double-scull shells the Weld crew was the only one entered. They made a start and were awarded the race. In the eight-oared race three crews started - the Weld, the Riverside, and the Shawmut clubs. After rowing a quarter of a mile the Weld crew, being in the Riverside's water, the latter rowed across the bow of the former.
