Although unheralded by a blast of trumpets the decision to allow Senior preference again in Holworthy, Hollis and Stoughton was really very important. Every year the question is thrashed out in the Corporation and every year more appeals and protests are necessary to convince these gentlemen of the advisability of permitting Seniors to have first call on these three dormitories. This winter it looked as if the class of 1909 was to be the last to enjoy this privilege, for the Corporation and Administrative Board were strongly opposed to the idea.
