Sartorially speaking, fall is almost always dominated by warm colors (think camel, winter white), so this season's abundance of purple--and a chilly blue one at that--is "very unusual," says Leatrice Eiseman, psychologist and executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. Determining the right shade of teal is ultimately not that mysterious a process. "We usually look at fashion first," says Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.
