...this morning concerning the Crowninshield Scholarships. These scholarships, two in number, were founded in 1877 and have just become available. The peculiar feature of them is that they are assigned in the freshman year and may be held throughout the four years of the college course. In this they differ from any other scholarships offered by the college. They are not so large as many of the scholarships which are assigned from year to year, but their permanent characters make them particularly desirable.
