...first public performance of Ben Jonson's "Bartholomew Fair" was given last night at Brattle Hall by the Harvard Chapter of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity. The success of the play does not hang on the plot, which is slender, but on its unusual scenes, its swift action, its stinging satire and the spirited delineation of character.
