...Senior elections yesterday are deserving of comment in view of the very significant fact that, notwithstanding the unprecedented avalanche of nominations by petition, the men elected were in every case those originally nominated by the committee. This conclusively proves that the deliberations of a committee are much more likely to result in acceptable nominations than the flightly decisions of individual petitions.
