RUNNING HIGH JUMP.A few minutes past two o'clock the contestants in the running high jump appeared. The bar was placed at four feet six inches. It was quickly raised from this height, however, until Henry failed at 5 feet, Batchelder having previously withdrawn. Buckingham fell out at five feet one inch. Clark, Bradley and Rogers now did some good and graceful jumping. Rogers jumped five feet three and a half inches, but failed to clear half an inch more.
