EDITORS DAILY CRIMSON:- If I may judge anything from the showing which the freshman eleven has made in its match games so far this season, the chances for final victory with Yale '92, are not the brightest imaginable. The members of the freshman class would have no cause for complaint if it were perfectly sure that the men on the team are the best the class has. They are, doubtless the best men of those who are trying for the team, but there are some men training for the crew who have come here with wellestablished reputations as football players...

...Prometheus Fired" treats of the old athletic question in a very new and original manner. Portions of this socalled lost Play of Aeschylus are very clever and well written. The work is, however, very uneven in point of merit. The charge of the Archon Eponymous is by far the brightest and best written scene of the play. The plot lacks continuity and hence fails to some extent in its purpose...

...speak. The sudden insanity of one of the most promising of recent graduates recalls painful memories of that forcing system which has so long been in vogue at my own university. The leader of my class shortly after entering upon his sophomore work died of brain fever. The brightest light of the class of '78 was on the point of being graduated with highest honors.
