...BOSTON THEATRE. The play "Drink" is so contrived that it keeps out the objectionable features of "L'Assommoir," which make it unfit for representation, and loses the dramatic and realistic merits of the novel. The chief feature of the play is the delirium tremens scene, which is as repulsive as any one could desire. "Drink" will be presented every night at 7.45, and Saturday at 2, until further notice...

SEVERAL hare-and-hound clubs have been lately organized, and have met with great success in their runs, so far. A run was held under the auspices of the Union Athletic Club, in Boston, last week, and was well attended. On November 13, a New Jersey club held their first meet of the season at Red Bank, N. J. We understand that a meeting will shortly be held at this University, to consider the advisability of forming a Harvard hare-and-hound club...

...BOSTON THEATRE. Mr. Grau's opera-bouffe company made their bow to a Boston audience at this house, on the 10th of this month. They have since appeared in an almost nightly change of familiar operas. Many of the troupe, as Duplan and Mezieres, are old favorites, always excellent and always welcome. Mlle. Marie comes to us with the perfect musical and dramatic education of her elder sisters, and with the additional attraction of youth. Her acting is a nightly surprise, and her singing is worthy of serious opera. Her Clairette, Duchesse, and Boulotte are marked by a cleverness...

...BOSTON MUSEUM. " Dr. Clyde," a play translated from the German of L'Arronze, the author of "Mein Leopold" ("My Son"), was produced here last Monday evening.
