DIED. Harry Bertoia, 63, Italian-born sculptor and furniture designer; of a pulmonary hemorrhage; in Barto, Pa. Bertoia first achieved recognition in 1952 when he unveiled his now classic chair: an upholstered, diamond-shaped wire shell sus pended in a steel cradle.
